ASTM A334 Gr 1 pipe belongs to the specification ASTM A334 or ASME SA334. We are suppliers of different grades of these pipes and the grade 1 is the most used of the types. The SA334 Gr 1 seamless pipe is made by hot rolled or cold drawn procedures. ASTM A334 Grade 1 Low Temperature Pipe
The pipe ends vary such as plain, coupling or beveled. The pipes are supplied as rolled, cold drawn or normalizing rolled. There are different types of coatings available such as the epoxy resin coating, color painting and 3LPE coating. The SA334 Grade 1 welded pipe supports forming operations such as drawing, expansion, machining, sand blasting, shot blasting, galvanizing and heat treatments.
The chemical composition of the A334 Grade 1 line pipes include carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The other grades such as grade 3 and grade 6 have nickel in the composition as well. The ASME SA 334 Grade 1 Carbon Steel Tubes are therefore suitable for low temperature applications. They are used in architectural, construction, agricultural and in general corrosive service applications.
