Carbon steel Dish End Manufacturer in India produce the dish ends in different types, dimensions and material grades. The dish ends are products that are used in pressure vessels and high pressure boilers to keep the end closed. The MS dish end cap is made up of mild steel where there are different shapes to the dishes such as cone shape, flat type and different other types with different dimensions. The Ellipsoidal dish end has an elliptic curve on the outside of the dish. Their outside diameters can range up to 5000mm and their wall thicknesses can range from 3mm to 60mm. These are used to close the connection of a pipeline. The installation of the different Dished boiler end types can be through screw, threading, welding or a combination of thread and weld. There are different material grades used such as 304, 316 austenitic grades, carbon steel grades, alloy steel grades and martensitic steel grades. The Carbon steel dished ends have high toughness and can withstand high wear and tear. They are also easy to weld with. The carbon steel is also low in cost compared to the alloy steel dish ends. The CS Dished end cap is therefore used in most applications in the general corrosive range.
The sensitive and expensive applications use more complex, expensive and mechanically higher grades of materials. The SS torispherical dished end is usually made through thermal expansion or drawing process to get the right shape. The arc, inside diameter, outside diameter, wall thickness and pressure capacities all differ from the usual Elliptical dished end. The different types of cap ends are used in oil and gas, agriculture, fertilizer, petroleum, petrochemical, food processing, water lines and in many other industrial applications.
