The wall thickness of the pipes ranges from 1.8mm to 22mm. The outer diameter of the DIN 17175 st 45.8 welded pipe ranges from 17.2mm to 168mm. The lengths vary as well. There are single random, double random and cut to length sizes ranging up to 18000mm in these pipes. The DIN 17175 Seamless Steel Tubes have different schedules that correspond to different wall thicknesses and outer diameter types.
The material can be easily welded with any conventional welding methods. The 13CrMo44 Welded Steel Tubes have minimum yield strength ranging up to 290MPa and minimum tensile strength ranging up to 590MPa. The preheating or post weld heat treatment is not required due to the less alloying content and less carbon in the composition. The DIN 17175 grade 15mo3 steel pipe are used in oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, water lines and in other general corrosive service applications.
