WPL6 U Bend
The WPL6 Long Radius Bend is one of the types that make the pressure relaxed inside the bend due to the longer radius. The shorter radius bends are available too. Our ASTM A420 WPL6/ WPL9 Low Temperature Steel BW Bends can be used in mild hot water applications in domestic usage, water circulation in power plants, industrial applications and in marine applications as well. The ASTM A420 Gr WPL6 3D Pipe Bends can be used interchangeably with the high carbon steel bends.
There are different degrees of directional change with the angle of the bend. The 45 degree, 90 degree and the 180 degree bends are the most used. The 180 degree bends are also called the WPL6 U Pipe Bend and they are used to reverse the fluid flow direction. The LTCS J Pipe Bend is another special type which is used in draining systems.
